For the past year, I’ve been working alongside artist Rocky Sandoval to develop MONARCH, an upcoming album centered around rebirth, redemption, and personal evolution. My involvement began before the music was finished, with the creation of the album’s name, narrative, tracklist, visual direction, and symbolism that connects the project as a whole. Since then, I’ve expanded that vision into album artwork, individual music video concepts and storyboards, production lookbooks, merchandise, and marketing strategies for its release. While Rocky develops the music, I’ve been building the world surrounding it, with the goal of creating an experience that extends beyond the songs themselves. MONARCH remains in development, so much of my creative work has yet to be publicly revealed.
